MBV Schug was founded 1996 by Lorenz Schug. We are located from the beginning in Detzem, a small town in Rheinland-Pfalz at the Roman Winestreet.

In approx. 20 km distance is Trier, the oldest city of Germany, admits by their historical buildings and monuments from the Roman time.

In our workshop we nearly do everything, we repair Electric and Live-Steam Locos, we install sounds, digital- and radio control system and much more.

Our occupations as mechanics, communication electronics engineers and specialized courses in work with a turning lathe, soldering, welding and painting were very helpful.

Our favorites are handcrafted brass models from Aster, Accucraft, BLW, Dingler, Fulgurex, Kiss, Roundhouse, Regner ...
